Stonemasonry
is an ancient traditional craft which has been mastered in
the Western Isles for many centuries. Having followed a family
tradition, I R MacDonald Stonecraft, keeps this craft alive
and therefore utilises the resources of the area to construct
timeless and enduring structures. Scottish stone encompasses
many features which adds to it's beauty and versatility. As
a building material it is resilient and durable with a wide
range of applications. Stone is a natural product which adds
character, solidity and warmth to any design.
